NORTH CENTER

North Center s the area between Western, Addison, Montrose, and Ravenswood. This quieter and less densely developed residential neighborhood that is quickly developing a strong retail presence along the Lincoln Ave street of the area. It’s popular restaurants, night life, and annual Rib Fest draws large crowds to this neighborhood.

North Center has excellent public transportation with many bus routes, stops for the brown “L” line for easy access into downtown (the Loop). Is also has a stop on Metra’s Union Pacific North Line with service between the Loop and Kenosha, Wisconsin, including North Shore suburbs such as Evanston, Wilmette, Winnetka and Highland Park. Street parking is much less congested than in other neighborhoods and does not require a parking permit.
