Chicago is going to be spooky!

The time of year where ghosts; goblins and creatures of the night roam throughout Chicago is upon us once again. Jack-o-lanterns adorn sidewalks and spider webs hang precariously as Chicago prepares for one of its favorite holidays with events, parades and contests throughout the city with several taking place in our own neighborhoods!

On Oct 31 on Halsted from Belmont to Brompton in Lakeview; ghosts, goblins, super heroes, fire twirlers and more will rise again to march down the street for onlookers to see. During the parade, watchers can vote for their favorite costume by posting a photo of them on Instagram with #hauntedhalsted000. If you are feeling competitive, the costume contest is free, and pets are welcome to march in the parade or watch with their human companions! All ages may register at the parade.

The Haunted Halsted Halloween Night has been voted one of the best in the nation by Fodor’s Travel Guide; don’t miss out on a night of Halloween splendor!
